This qualification provides foundational skills and knowledge for individuals starting their careers in caregiving. It prepares students to deliver person-centered care to clients in residential, community, or home-based settings. Key topics include understanding the needs of the elderly, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring personal support, and practical skills such as assisting with activities of daily living, providing individualized care, and maintaining safety and hygiene. Graduates are entry-level caregivers capable of working under supervision.

Certificate IV in Individual Support Work (6 months). Fee: $1750. 180hrs Workplace Attachment.Ā 
Building on the Certificate III, this qualification develops advanced caregiving and leadership skills. It emphasizes autonomy, team leadership, and specialized care, including support for individuals with complex needs. Students gain expertise in health promotion, palliative care, and implementing tailored care plans. The course prepares graduates for supervisory roles or further education in healthcare, fostering both practical and theoretical skills for higher responsibilities in caregiving.

Both qualifications are provider-based, ensuring industry-relevant training, and include workplace attachments to enhance hands-on experience.
